About Crimson Maple Construction
A residential general contractor in Manchester, New Hampshire, owned by Devin Ouellette, who sums the business up as “frame to finish.” Devin writes the estimates himself, after a look at the job; his number is (603) 722-3344.
From a kitchen to construction
Devin’s background, the way he wrote it for this site: “I was a chef and then started learning construction.” Crimson Maple Construction is the company that came out of that change. It was registered with the New Hampshire Secretary of State in May 2026 as Crimson Maple Construction LLC, and it has been taking jobs under its own name since late that month.
It is a small company, and the people who come to your house are the people doing the work. When a job needs an electrician, a plumber or an excavator, Devin brings one in.
Why “Crimson Maple”
The name is a tree. The owners wanted it tied to this state: “We wanted to tie it to New Hampshire,” with a name that is “something that people can actually see.” The colors on this site are the logo’s own, the crimson of the leaf and the charcoal of the hammer, the same pair the company uses on its business cards.
One call, several trades
As the owners put it: “because we have a skill set that’s so broad, we’re able to start multiple parts of the project at the same time. So instead of having to call, like, Bob, Tim, and Sal, right? For X, Y, Z, they’re just calling us.”
A tight ship
A couple of different homeowners have said the same thing about Crimson Maple: how clean the job is. Asked what surprises customers most once the work is under way, Devin’s answer was “how clean we are.”
The routine behind it, in the owners’ words: “We keep all of our materials in one section. We keep all of our tools. We keep those separate, and then we clean up after every single day if it’s an occupied home, and even if it’s not an occupied home, we still don’t leave it a mess.”
Recent jobs
As of late September 2026, the last three jobs were in Hudson, Hillsborough and Londonderry. In Hudson it was a pair of French double doors. In Londonderry it was a room taken back to the studs in the middle of a house that stayed occupied, with a wall framed in and a new door put in.
Jobs further north happen too, in Laconia, Grafton and Bennington, but more of the work runs south of Manchester than north. Every town on the service area list is one where the owners have worked, and the job photos all come off the company’s own Facebook page.
The job they talk about most
Asked which project they talk about most, Devin named one in Newton, “only because it was a complete gut.” An addition was closed off and the kitchen extended, and the house went back to the studs. The flooring page has what came up from under the old floors.
Where the business is heading
Right now the work that pays best is flooring, tile and paint, and the work people ask for most is drywall repair and paint. Doors bring in a lot of calls too. The next step is the outside of the house. The owners have done roofing and siding before, and the goal is to be doing whole roofs by spring 2027. This winter the plan is roof snow removal and ice-dam clearing, with indoor work alongside it.
A warranty, in writing
The written estimate you sign carries a one-year workmanship warranty. The page on how quotes work walks through the rest, from the first call to the first day.
What is not on the list
Foundation work and poured concrete pads. Devin rules out foundations because of the certifications and special training involved, and concrete pads because of the equipment. The framing page has his answer word for word.
