We hang doors in Manchester and the towns around it, mostly south of the city: French doors, closet doors, entry doors, and doors in brand-new openings. That's how the owners put it on our onboarding call in September 2026. Swapping a door is on their short list of quick, simple jobs, next to flooring, tile, windows and painting.

Recent door jobs

Our most recent French doors went into a house in Hudson, one of our last three jobs as of late September 2026. In Londonderry, another of those three, we took a room down to the studs in a house that stayed occupied, framed in a wall and put in a door.

The door that showed up wrong

Not every door arrives the way it was ordered. On one four-day job, two of us, the door was supposed to come pre-hung. Devin: "it didn't have any of the hinges mortised or the doorknobs or any of that, so we had to go out and get a router."

So we did it ourselves. Devin says the extra tools cost "like $300, $400 more" than planned, "so it was almost like an investment for the business too."

When a door has to be ordered, Devin comes out before the start date to take the first deposit and get the paperwork signed.

A door job from the framing on

Our Facebook reel from September 9, 2026 tells one French-door job in a single line: "We framed a new wall, hung and finished the drywall, installed the French double doors, and got everything painted and trimmed out."
