Framing Contractor in Manchester, NH
We frame new walls, new openings and rooms in Manchester and nearby, more often south of the city than north. Devin looks at the job before he prices it and sends the estimate that night or the next day. Framing is the "frame" in "frame to finish," his words for the business; typical jobs have run $800 to $30,000 (September 2026), and how quotes work covers deposits.
"I've done a lot of framing"
That's one of the owners on our first call, in September 2026. A French-door job we posted on September 9, 2026 started the same way, with a new wall framed in.
A room to the studs in Londonderry
In Londonderry, one of our last three jobs as of late September 2026, we took one room down to the studs, framed in a wall and put in a door. Not a whole house: "Just for a room." It was in the middle of a house that stayed occupied, and the owners' word for it was "hectic."
Newton: an addition closed off
On the Newton job, the one we talk about most, we closed off an addition and extended the kitchen. Everything went back to the studs, and we redid the framing, the insulation and the floors.
What we don't do
Foundations and concrete. Devin's words: "Foundation work, there's a lot of certifications and special training involved that our crew just doesn't have the qualifications for." And: "Pouring concrete pads, I don't have the equipment or the skillset to be able to offer this service."
When a job needs an excavator, an electrician or a plumber, we bring one in.
Basements in winter
If roof snow work is slow this winter, the owners want to bid basement jobs instead, because "a lot of basement jobs get done in the winter."

Questions people actually ask
- Do you frame openings in existing walls?
Yes. Two of our September 2026 photos are framing in a finished basement: a new rough opening in raw lumber, and a wide opening with a wood header.
