The finish end of frame to finish
"Frame to finish" is how Devin sums up the business, and trim is the finish. On a French-door job we posted on September 9, 2026, the paint and the trim came last, after the new wall, the drywall and the doors.
In Newton, the job we talk about most, the finish was the last thing Devin mentioned: "And then we made it look really nice."
Trim in our photos
Two of our July 2026 photos are wainscoting. One is a hallway with board-and-batten, white rails over charcoal panels, and the floor still under paper. The other is a small entry with white panels on grey walls beside a white door with a half-lite window. A third, from the same month, is a half bath with white baseboard along new whitewashed plank flooring.

In August 2026 we posted a closet with new grey panel doors under a small pine cabinet, framed in white casing and crown on a pale blue wall.
