Prep is the part that changes
On our onboarding call in September 2026 the owners were straight about paint. It's one of the jobs that pays best, "if there isn't, like, a ton of prep involved, but there's always going to be prep involved." And "sometimes you have to spend more time on it."

Paint at the end of a bigger job
On a French-door job we posted on September 9, 2026, paint came near the end, after a new wall, new drywall and the doors. In late September 2026 we were setting up an estimate on an entire farmhouse where the homeowners wanted us to "paint the whole place," along with drywall repair and new floors.
Small paint jobs count
Paint touch-ups were on the list in our September 23, 2026 Facebook post offering openings for small jobs. Two of our photos show paint up close: a room painted blue with one charcoal accent wall (August 2026), and a basement staircase beside a freshly painted cream wall (July 2026).
