Flooring Installation in Manchester, NH
We put in floors in Manchester and the towns around it, more often south of the city than north: plank, hardwood, and the subfloor underneath when it has to come up. Call (603) 722-3344 and Devin comes to see the room before he prices it; the written estimate follows that night or the next day. Typical jobs have run $800 to $30,000 (September 2026), and how quotes work covers the deposit and the warranty.
Five subfloors in Newton
The job we talk about most was in Newton. Devin calls it "a complete gut." We closed off an addition, extended the kitchen, took everything back to the studs and brought the ceiling down. Then the floors: "We took up five subfloors from that property and then relayed new hardwood."
"It was a showpiece," Devin says. "That's what we call it."
Why floors are near the top of our list
Asked on our first call, in September 2026, what pays best, the owners said "Tile work, painting, and then any sort of flooring." On the form, Devin wrote "Flooring and Tile." Their reason: it's "quick and it's something simple."
A whole farmhouse of floors
In late September 2026 we were setting up an estimate on an entire farmhouse. The homeowners wanted drywall repair, the whole place painted, and new floors all the way through. That means ripping up the old flooring first, then laying the new. Some doors too.
Basement floors in our photos
Two of our July 2026 photos are basement floors: oak-look plank in a bright white room with a low built-in bench, and plank going down over the slab under new purple drywall.
